Get Involved

Join us Monday, March 30 & Thursday, April 2 at the “Y” Jonesboro Youth Community Center, 1421 W. Nettleton Ave. for open houses during Design Week.

The Jonesboro Comprehensive Plan depends on community input to ensure the plan reflects local priorities, values, and day-to-day experiences. Your perspective will help shape how Jonesboro grows, where reinvestment should be focused, and what improvements matter most—from neighborhood stability and housing choices to safer corridors, trails, and community amenities.

Check this page after the public meeting to take the first survey and use a variety of interactive tools to share your ideas, identify opportunities and concerns, and weigh in on future strategies.

Visit News & Updates for information on upcoming public meetings and engagement opportunities. These events will include project updates, draft materials, and additional ways to provide input as the plan develops.

The traffic issues should have been taken into consideration before the project began. Poor planning!!!

Local traffic will use the alternative roads which will create more issues on Brown’s lane, Windover, etc.

Absolutely wonderful staff. Awesome presentation of interative stations. Warm, friendly, not at all what I expected. I felt right at home sharing both positive and negative concerns and successes with others. Thank you!!

I feel Jonesboro is growing and needs more information out to the community about growth so we can have more participation and less keyboard warriors. Better relationship with city and county so transportation and connection for residents are more fluid.

Better communication between city and county

Thank you for this time to share. Please consider a driving range for golf @ Craighead or Joe Mack

Last I checked, our public library has been forced to make staff cuts and almost exclusively accepts volunteer workers. Because of this, the library has become more focused on its goals as a homeless shelter in the past 3 years rather than a place of education and enrichment. There is not enough time in the day to truly make a difference with the squandered leftover of funds that the city has allowed them. Seeing what the library has become in my community is heartbreaking.

Would like the Red Wolf Breeding Center

Need homeless shelter and more affordable housing

The open house was very informative and the participants were very knowledgeable and helpful.

I think that if the city has more activities for our youth to be part of it would help keep them off the streets and in trouble

… need of infrastructure improvements in regards to traffic congestion and bike trails. Definitely need a senior center with a year round pool for senior aquatic classes

We need more for the youth city of Jonesboro Parks need to pay more
